Ruby Nell &8220;Billie&8221; Kendrick, 82, of Hoover passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2007. The funeral service was held Sunday, May 13 at 2 p.m. at Riverchase Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Rick Anderson presided. She was buried at Elliotsville cemetery. Mrs. Kendrick was the former Ruby Nell Harper and the youngest of 12 children. Billie was a loving and devoted wife, who married her high-school sweetheart. She was a member of Riverchase Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Kendrick graduated from St. Vincent&8217;s School of Nursing, and her career led to many interesting locales as a RN and a young Navy wife. The family asks that any memorials be made to the Riverchase Presbyterian Church at 600 Riverchase Parkway West, Hoover, Ala., 35244.
