Russell Glenn Cadle, 57, of Bremen passed away Friday, May 11, 2007, in a local hospital, following a brief illness.

The funeral service was held Monday, May 14 at 12 p.m. at the Hightower Funeral Home. The Rev. James Connell presided. He was buried at 3 p.m. at Sylvan Springs Cemetery in Sylvan Springs.

Cadle was born in Jefferson County on December 12, 1950. He was the son of Thomas W. Cadle and Nell Lowery Cadle.

He was employed as Project Superintendent for R.J. Griffin & Company in Atlanta, was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict and was a member of the Calera Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Silas Cadle of Bremen; daughter, Cynthia Cadle of Lawrenceville; parents, Thomas W. and Nell Cadle of Wilsonville; and grandmother, Ollie Lowery of Calera.
