Shawood Dunn, 65, of Pelham passed away on May 14, 2007.

The funeral service was held Thursday, May 17 at 2 p.m. at Charter Funeral Home. Visitation was held Wednesday, May 16 from 6-8 p.m. He was buried in Shelby Memory Gardens. The Rev. Joseph J. Stanbridge presided.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sue Pennington Dunn; daughter, Jo Ann (Eddie) Weldon; son, Bruce Alan (Christine) Dunn of Rio Rancho, N.M.; sisters, Blonnie Beard of Pelham, Connie (Ed) Edmunds of Norfolk, Va.; and four grandchildren, Jessica and Katelyn Weldon and Carynn and Michaela Dunn.
