Thompson middle blocker Michelle Simmons led the South all-stars with eight kills, two solo blocks and three block assists Thursday in the 11th annual AHSAA All-Star Sports Week at the University of Alabama at Huntsville’s Spragins Hall. The North defeated the South in three games by scores of 25-23, 25-17 and 25-12. Simmons committed earlier this year to play college ball at the University of Georgia.
