Critters by the Creek will be held Saturday, Aug. 4 from 8-11 a.m. at Orr Park in Montevallo. There will be a pet photo, look-alike and talent contests as well as vendors, music and more. All dogs and cats should be kept on a leash. There is no charge for admission, but donations are requested for the Shelby County Humane Society, which will be there with adoptable pets and more information.
