Mr. and Mrs. Billy L. Faulkner of Pelham are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kadie Kristina Faulkner to Travis Upton Prater, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alan Prater of Alabaster.

The bride-elect is the grandaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Owens of Alabaster and Mrs. Sadie Henry of Maylene and Mr. Bill Faulkner of Homewood.

She is an alumnus of Phi Mu Fraternity.

She is employeed in Homewood.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Ms. Mary E. Upton and the late Mr. Jimmie Upton of Homewood and the late Mr. M.T. and Polly Prater of Vestavia.

He attended the University of South Alabama.

Currently he is employed in Pelham.

The wedding is planned for October 6, 2007 at Mathews Manor in Springville
