Memorial service for Marty Fortenberry, age 40, of Shelby will be at 5 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 30, 2007, at Bolton-Letlow Chapel.

Mr. Fortenberry, who passed away Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2007 at a local hospital, was born Aug. 29, 1966 in Georgia.

He is survived by his children, Brooklyn Rainey Varden, Kori Fortenberry, Andy Fortenberry; granddaughter, Caitlyn Varden, and a host of family and friends.
