Mary Elizabeth Nichols, 85, of Calera passed away Friday, Aug. 31, 2007 in Alabaster. The funeral service was held Monday, Sept. 3 at 11 a.m. at Rocko Chapel in Montevallo. The Rev. Hal Warren presided. Nichols was buried at Shelby Memorial Gardens in Calera.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce C. Nichols Sr. and her daughter, Jane Nichols.

She is survived by her daughters, Jeannette Morgan, Nancy Benton and Joyce Newman; her son, Bruce Nichols Jr.; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren
