2nd Lt. Joseph Hill Greene and Karla Flores-Parkman Garcia were united in marriage Aug. 24, 2007, in El Paso, Texas. Karla is the daughter of Juan Enrique Flores-Parkman Cacho and Marisela Garcia Sierra of El Paso, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Soledad Sierra Esponeza Hignacio Garcia of Juarez Chihuahua, Mexico and Bertha Josefina Cacho Velazco and the late Maj. Enrique Flores-Parkman of Guadalajara Jalisco, Mexico.

Joey is the son of Woody and Jo Ellen Greene of Calera. His grandparents are (Ret.) Lt. Col. Ernest Greene and Jane Greene of Abbeville and the late Joe and Dixie Hill of Lafayette.

Karla is a graduate of the University of Texas-El Paso with a major in industrial engineering. Joey is a graduate of the University of Montevallo with a major in pre-law and political science. 2nd Lt. Greene is in the 11th Air Defense Artillery Brigade of Fort Bliss, Texas. The Greenes reside in El Paso, Texas.
