The 120-pound Thompson Red Warriors (2-1) defeated Vestavia White 14-13, Sept. 21.

Heath Haskins, who had five tackles on defense, had a touchdown and two extra points to lead the Red Warriors, while Nagel Dumont also found the end zone. Alec Whittington led the team with 9 tackles, while Gavin Green and Gage Sumrall each had 6 tackles.

Jake Adams led the Chelsea Hornet Middle School to a 32-14 victory over Childersburg, Sept. 19. Adams threw for a touchdown and ran for two more, while Julius McCall scored the other three Chelsea touchdowns for Chelsea
