Army Pvt. Casey T. Perryman has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C.

During the nine weeks of training, Perryman studied the Army mission, history, physical fitness and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons and field-training exercises.

He is the son of Michael Perryman of Columbiana and a 2007 graduate of Cornerstone Christian School
