Funeral service for Edward “Eugene” Blackerby, age 66, of Wilsonville, was at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2007, at Liberty Baptist Church. Burial followed at Liberty Cemetery. Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22 at Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home.

Mr. Blackerby, who passed away Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007, at a local hospital, was born Jan. 14, 1941, in Bessemer.
