What’s Cooking: Amy McDaniel’s Special Spanish Rice

Amy McDaniel lives in Columbiana and works down at Beverly’s Bar-B-Q. The recipe is suggested as a side serving with grilled cheese sandwiches.

2 packages of Knorr Spanish rice

1 can of diced tomatoes

1 can of tomato sauce

4 tablespoons margarine

2 tablespoons of chili powder

4 cups of water

Bring four cups of water, tomatoes, tomato sauce, margarine and chili powder to a boil. Add rice packages. Reduce heat to simmer and let simmer for 7 minutes
