Funeral service for Jeanette Roberson, age 81, of Calera was at 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007, at Prospect Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayne Horton officiating. Burial followed at Shelby Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Roberson, who passed away Thursday, Nov. 15, 2007, at a local nursing home, was born Nov. 4, 1926, in Shelby County. She was a member of Prospect Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Roberson.

She is survived by her brother, Johnny Scoggins; special nephew, R.C. Laminack; and numerous nieces and nephews.
