Otis Wayne Walker

Funeral services for Otis Wayne Walker, 73, of Sylacauga, will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Smitherman officiating.
Burial will be in Anniston Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time.
Mr. Walker died Monday at Privette Home in Lynchburg, Va.
Survivors include his son, Bob Walker; his daughter, Debbie Walker; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances Hamilton Walker, and his parents, Worthy Daniel Walker and Helen Aline Carlisle Walker
Mr. Walker served in the U. S. Naval Reserve and was a graduate of Howard College. He taught and coached several sports at Vincent High School from 1959 until 1970. He was head football coach at Wheatley Middle School in Childersburg and assistant football coach at Childersburg High School from 1970 until 1984.
He was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity and the Alabama Coaches Association.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN
