Randy, born in Alabama on Dec. 28, 1957, passed away Friday, Nov. 30, 2007, with his loving family by his side. He was a resident of Calera.

Visitation was held Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday at Charter Funeral Home, with brother Mark Lovett officiating. Burial followed at Potes Chapel Cemetery in Thorsby.

Randy is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Dewayne and Mrs. Annie Mae Ray Smith, and two brothers, Billy Joe Smith and Robert Clyde Smith.

Survivors of Randy include his devoted and caring siblings, his sisters, Lois Payton of Columbiana, Shirley Presley (Jim) and Wanda Green, all of Calera; his brother, Bobby Smith of Calera; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Randy was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

Arrangements were under the direction of Charter Funeral Home in Calera.
