Birmingham-based Bar-B-Que restaurant Jim ‘N Nick’s is expected to open in the late spring of 2008 behind American Family Care in Alabaster.

The restaurant chain has added seven locations in the past two years including one in Denver, Colo. The Alabaster location will be the seventh in the Birmingham metro area and second in Shelby County
