Funeral service for Jose Moreno, age 9 months, of Chelsea, was 2 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 2, 2007, at Liberty Baptist Church with the Rev. Alan Kuyendall officiating. Burial followed at Liberty Cemetery. Visitation was one hour prior to the service at the church.

Jose, who passed away Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007 at home, was born Feb. 26, 2007 in Alabaster.

He is survived by his parents, Juan and Amity Moreno; brother, Juan Carlos Newsome; grandparents, Connie (Daniel) Garcia, Rocky Newsome, Francisco Murcia, Miguel Angel Moreno; and other family and friends.
