Howard “Mitchell” Winslett celebrated his third birthday Dec. 24. Mitchell is the son of Howard and Melody Winslett of Calera.

Mitchell celebrated his birthday with a pirate themed party Dec. 15. The party was held at home with friends and family.

His grandparents are Dellene Winslett and the late Howard M. Winslett Jr. of Columbiana, Terry and Dot Hodgens of Alabaster and Tommy and Debra Hall of Pinson
