Lorene Cole Giddens, 63, of Pelham passed away Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008.

Mrs. Giddens retired from Wal-Mart after 19 years. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Charter Funeral Home with burial in Helena City Cemetery. Visitation was held at Charter Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. Friday.

Her grandson, Scott Warner, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her mother, Theda Cole; daughter, Deidre Boothe (Jim Jones) of Alabaster; sons, Michael Giddens (Coni) of Maylene and Richard Giddens (Julie) of Calera; grandchildren, Felicia Gutierrez, C.J. Boothe, Tiffany Giddens, Brandon Giddens, Dani Boothe, Stephanie Giddens, Adam Giddens, Michael Giddens II, Justin Jones, Miranda Warner, Rebecca Barnett, Connor Barnett, Kaelyn Barnett and Sabrina Barnett; and one great-grandson, Christopher Gutierrez. Charter Funeral Home directed.
