Jordan to present ‘Sisters in Science’

Author and scientist Diann Jordan will present a lecture titled “Sisters in Science: Conversations with Black Women Scientists on Race, Gender and Their Passion for Science” Jan. 10 at 10 a.m., at the Columbiana Recreation and Senior Center on Washington Street, across from the Shelby County High School football field. Jordan, a Bullock County native, holds degrees from Tuskegee University, Alabama A& University and Michigan State University, including a Ph.D in environmental soil microbiology
