A send-off party for the 2008 Shelby County Junior Miss Haley Bagwell was held Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008, at the Riverchase United Methodist Church.

More than 100 friends, family and members of the Shelby County Junior Miss Board attended.

Bagwell will be competing Jan. 18-19 in Montgomery with over 50 young women for the title of Alabama’s Junior Miss.

The 2009 Shelby County Junior Miss program will be held July 25-26 at Oak Mountain High School
