McCrory named to state chamber board

Ben W. McCrory, president of the Montevallo Chamber of Commerce, was recently elected to the state chamber of commerce’s board of directors at the annual meeting of the Chamber of Commerce Association of Alabama (CCAA).
The state chamber of commerce is a professional development and governmental relations organization that represents more than 120 chambers of commerce statewide.
The organization has nearly 60,000 business members.
McCrory has led the Montevallo Chamber for the past 7 years and also serves as chairman of the Montevallo Historical Commission. He is a member of the Industrial Development Board, Shelby County Transportation Task Force, Tourism Committee and Permanent Endowment Board of the United Methodist Church. McCrory is the past president of the Rotary Club and was named 2005/2006 Civic Leader of the Year
