Eunice D. Price, 83, of Montevallo passed away Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008, at a local hospital.

She is survived by a son, Billy Hooker (Faye) of Selma; three daughters, Pat Clark of Six Mile, Gail Lovejoy of Florence and Martha White (George) of Gadsden; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husbands, William E. Hooker Sr. and H.R. Price.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Jan. 31 at 11 a.m. Burial followed in Montevallo Cemetery. Grandsons served as pallbearers. The Rev. Bill Brown officiated.

She was a member of the Montevallo Methodist Church.

Mrs. Price was a former nurse at the University of Montevallo and was truly a caregiver at heart. She was well known in her community for her delicious food, beautiful flowers and incredible quilts she shared with others.
