David B. Money has joined the United States Army under the Delayed Entry Program.

Money, a 2006 graduate of a high school program at Jefferson State Community College in Birmingham will report this month to Fort Benning in Columbus, Ga., for basic training.

He is the son of James and Ellen Money of Midfield. His wife, Brittany, is the daughter of Mark and Sandra Holmes of Calera
