Ava Black celebrated her 4th birthday Feb. 11 in Calera with more than 50 friends and family members.

The children enjoyed a “My Little Pony” themed party as Mrs. Patti Johnston brought two miniature ponies, Koko and Rio, to the event.

Ava is the daughter of Jenny and Jerit Black of Pelham. Grandparents are Joyce and Larry Black of Calera and Linda and Steve Jordan
