Gardner wins art honor for calendar

Albert L. Scott Library patron Stuart Gardner, 8, has been awarded an honorable mention in the 2008 National Cat Calendar art contest launched by the book-selling firm Baker & Taylor.
Children ages 14 and under were to show the company’s cat mascots, Baker and Taylor, in any position or setting using any media.
Gardner is the son of Alan and Francie Gardner of Alabaster
