RealtySouth announced the addition of Sallie Creel to its Builder Developer Services office in Pelham.

After more than 30 years in the car rental industry, Creel has renewed her real estate license and is currently selling both residential and commercial real estate. Her professional career has held many accolades, including being inducted into the Birmingham Business Hall of Fame in 2002.

She has been the recipient of numerous awards in honor of her professionalism in the business community and generosity and tireless work with non-profit and civic organizations. Just some of her achievements include receiving the Jessie J. Lewis Jr. Community Service of the Year award in 2002, the “Distinguished Citizen Award” from the American Cancer Society in 1999. She was also named one of the 10 most influential women by the Birmingham News in 1997.

Creel is the mother of three adult children and has four grandchildren.
