Mike and Rhonda Sykes of Wilsonville announce the forthcoming engagement of their daughter, Amanda Sykes, to Wade Morris, son of Tony and Jenny Morris of Wilsonville.

Amanda is a graduate of Shelby County High and is employed by Columbiana Clinic. Her grandparents are the late Joe Sykes of Calera, Geraldine Holmes and the late Bill Holmes of Wilsonville and Bruce and Jerry Bates of Calera.

Wade is a graduate of Shelby County High and is employed by Alabama Power. His grandparents are Jake and Emily Morris of Wilsonville, Janet Glenn of Columbiana and the late Charles Glenn.

The wedding will be in Gatlinburg, Tenn. with a reception the following weekend at the home of Bill and Kim Caldwell of Columbiana.
