HOOVER – Lakin Eddy scored the game-winning goal in the second half to lead No. 3 Spain Park past Homewood in a Class 6A, Section 5 game Thursday.

Kristen Gue scored the Jags first goal in the first half.

Briarwood 1, Altamont 0: Lindsey Sillers scored the game-winner in the 31st minute to lead Briarwood (10-2-1) past the second-ranked team in 1A-4A, Altamont. Deborah Ross had seven saves for Briarwood.
