NORTH SHELBY – Southerners are famous for their home-cooked meals and genuine hospitality.

The minute customers step foot into Magnolia Caf/, they can expect just that.

From the friendly employees to the artistic murals displayed on the walls, Magnolia Caf/ is the epitome of Southern charm.

Owner Mike Lee has operated both his restaurant and popular catering service for the past 11 years.

During that time, his services have grown quite popular with church groups, businesses and pharmaceutical companies all over the Birmingham-metro area.

MENU

Magnolia Caf/ offers customers the top quality in Southern dining.

Lee says some of his most popular items include the pecan chicken, pot roast, Creole meatloaf and Southern style vegetables.

But the comfort foods don’t end there. The caf/ also has fried chicken, fried green tomatoes, baked ziti and much more.

After filling up on a hearty meal, customers can’t help but make a little room for dessert.

Magnolia Caf/ offers banana pudding, assorted cobblers and cookies.

The catering menu features party trays of fruit and cheese or veggies, and entrees of meat and up to three vegetables.

ATMOSPHERE

Magnolia Caf/ can seat up to 96 people at any one time.

Those customers can enjoy their dining experience as they admire the paintings of antebellum houses and steamboats that fill the walls.

SERVICE

Lee says his cafeteria-style line opens more space for a greater selection of meats.

And he is excited to announce that for the first time in 11 years, Magnolia Caf/ is opening its doors to customers on Sundays.
