The Briarwood Christian School girls’ soccer team held onto the top spot in Class 5A in the Alabama High School Soccer Coaches Association rankings released Monday.

In 6A girls’ poll, Spain Park held strong at No. 4, while Oak Mountain did the same at No. 6 and Thompson at No. 8.

In 5A, Chelsea stayed put at No. 9, while Indian Springs remained No. 4 in 4A-1A.

In the boys’ polls, Spain Park moved up two spots to No. 2 in 6A, while Oak Mountain dropped a spot to No. 4.

Briarwood stayed at No. 2 in 5A, with Chelsea moving up a spot to No. 6.

Indian Springs rounded out the county teams at No. 2 in 4A-1A.
