Michael Warren of Calera was named the Folk/Acoustic/Singer-Songwriter of the Year at the 2008 Birmingham Area Music Awards.

Warren, who is also the voice you hear on Fox 6’s Good Day Alabama theme song, has released a new CD entitled “Race To Be The Sun.
