Liberty Missionary Baptist Church in Alabaster will hold its 2008 Women’s Day Celebration Friday, April 19 and Saturday, April 20. The event’s theme is “Christian Women, Looking In the Right Direction.”

April 19 will include a Ladie’s Night Out at 6:30 p.m. A light dinner will be served and participants can expect a lot of surprises. Childcare will be

provided. April 20 will include two speakers.

Dr. Akeam A. Simmons, pastor, is the speaker for the 11 a.m. services and

Dr. Sheila Dene’ Lawrence from Star Baptist Church in Birmingham will be the guest speaker at 3 p.m.
