Trapp named national director

Eric W. Trapp has been named national director of dining services for Dominion Partners, according to Al Worthington, president of the Birmingham-based company.

Trapp will direct dining services for Dominion’s Somerby active retirement communities in Mobile; Alpharetta, Ga. and Mount Pleasant, S.C.

He will also be responsible for dining services for Somerby communities under development in Hoover at the St. Vincent’s 119 facility and at Peachtree City, Ga.

He has been in the food service industry since 1989 and in the senior living sector for eight years.

Most recently, he was district manager of dining services for Brookdale Senior Living in Chicago.

He studied at Howard University, in Washington, D. C., between 1985-1990 with a concentration in hospitality management
