Kelly Higginbotham of Montevallo and Kristin Kendrick of Alabaster were recently inducted into Phi Alpha Social Work Honor Society at the University of Montevallo’s Honors Day convocation.

Phi Alpha provides a closer bond among students of social work and promotes humanitarian goals and ideals.

The society fosters high standards of education for social workers and invites into membership those who have attained excellence in scholarship and achievement in social work.
