Funeral service for David S. Poe, 58, of Columbiana, was Tuesday, April 29, 2008, at Good Hope Methodist Church. Burial followed at Summerhill Cemetery.

Mr. Poe, who passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at his home was born on Feb. 3, 1950 in Columbiana.

He is survived by his wife, Fredia Ford Poe; 3 daughters, Doreen Rucker of Georgia, Jennifer Adaway of Columbiana, and Melaine Jones of Texas; 1 son, Kenneth Poe of Ohio; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; his mother, Clara Poe of Columbiana; four sisters, Brenda Perryman of Columbiana, Mickey Alexander of Calera, Billy Robinson of Jemison and Theresa McMasterson of Wilsonville; two brothers, Teddy Doyle Poe and Christor Micheal Poe both of Columbiana.
