FROM STAFF REPORTS
A television show proposal authored by Helena resident Brett McArdle won second place in the 15th People’s Pilot Competition. Winners were announced on http://tvwriter.com, the Web site that manages the contest.
The competition invites writers to submit proposals for new television series in the drama, comedy and reality genres. McArdle’s proposal, “Spacebound,” is a science-fiction concept in the action/drama category.
Various literary agencies and production companies around Hollywood, including executives with the Fox Network, NBC’s “Law & Order,” Marvel Studios and DreamWorks will review his proposal. McArdle’s submission last year, “Change the World 101,” reached the semi-finalist stage.
