Allison Marie Sexton, daughter of Calvin and Annie Sexton of Birmingham, received the B.A. in Information and Communication from the College of Communication and Information Sciences from the University of Alabama during the Spring 2008 Commencement.

Sexton has aspirations of working in radio and television media. She served as president of Student Activities from 2007-2008

Afterward, graduation she enjoyed a short reception with friends, relatives and well-wishers at the Hoover Lake House
