Rickertsen – Rudolphi engagement

Dennis and Kathleen Rickertsen of Helena announce the engagement of their daughter, Kendra Lee Rickertsen, to Captain Adam Carl Rudolphi, son of Lavinia and Michael Rudolphi of Scottsboro.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Velma Rickertsen and the late Donald Rickertsen of Charlotte, Iowa and Evelyn Hodges of Ft. Myers, Fla. and the late George Gaide and the late Earl Hodges.

Kendra is a graduate of Pelham High School, and attended Carson-Newman College on a volleyball scholarship.

She earned her bachelor of arts degree in psychology. Kendra earned her masters of science degree in criminal psychology from the University of North Alabama.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Jewell Frances Ferguson of Walla Walla, Wash. the late Earl Berry Ferguson of Martin, Tenn. and the late Rosalia “Sally” Olivia and Adolph Carl Rudolphi of Wendelin, Ill.

Captain Rudolphi is a graduate of Tishomingo County High School in Iuka, Miss.

He received a bachelor of science degree in biological engineering from Mississippi State University. He is a member of the United States Air Force and flies the HH-60G”Pavehawk” helicopter. He is currently stationed at Moody AFB in Ga. and has served in both Afghanistan and Iraq.

The wedding ceremony will take place June 28, 2008, at St. Jude Catholic Church in Scottsboro.
