Bain finishes fourth at Neely Henry Lake

Alabaster angler Kim Bain placed fourth in the Women’s Bassmaster Tour stop at Lake Neely Henry in Gadsden on May 24 to remain in the points lead for the season.
Bain had a three-day catch of 15 fish for a total weight of 26 pounds, 10 ounces. The fourth-place finish earned her $4,000. Bain won the first stop on the tour at Lake Lewisville in Texas on April 12. She currently leads the WBT Angler of the Year race with 590 points, followed by Cindy Hill of Tennessee with 571 points.
Jo Dee Lake of Helena was 14th in the competition with a three-day catch of 13 fish weighing 17 pounds, four ounces. The finish won her $975. Lake is currently No. 71 on the tour with 248 points.
The next stop on the WBT will be June 19-21 at Old Hickory Lake near Gallatin, Tenn
