Funeral mass for Janice M. Mahler, age 83, of Montevallo was held Monday, June 16, 2008, at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Father Ray Kiser officiated. Burial followed at Shelby Memory Garden in Calera. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service.

Ms. Mahler, who passed away June 13, 2008, at her home, is survived by her sister, Elizabeth “Betty” Mahler, and brother, John D. Mahler.
