Local students participate in Boys State

Boys State is a summer leadership and citizenship programs sponsored by the American Legion for high school students between their junior and senior years. This year the following young men proudly represented Shelby County on the University of Alabama campus for a period of growing in knowledge and leadership: Eric Arrowood, Vincent High School; Christopher Hamm, Thompson High School; Hayden Hyatt, Shelby County High School; Andrew Justice, Shelby County High School; Andy McMillan, Pelham High School; Nathaniel Miller, Shelby County High School; Paul Porter, Oak Mountain High School; Chase Sanders, Thompson High School; Bailey Seabury, Calera High School; and Daylan Woodall, Vincent High School.
