The National Federation of Independent Business Young Entrepreneur Foundation announced the Alabama recipients of the sixth-annual NFIB Young Entrepreneur Awards. The scholarship program is designed to reward and encourage entrepreneurial talents among high school students.
Clay Kyzar, a student at Oak Mountain High School, was selected as one of five students to receive anywhere from $1,000-$10,000 in tuition assistance.
The program encourages students to consider a career in small business and is supported this year by corporate sponsors Visa and The McKelvey Foundation.
