Northside Baptist Church in Calera recently hired Michael Scott Watts as their new youth pastor.

Michael has served as senior pastor and youth pastor in churches in Mississippi, Texas and Alabama.

A native of Prattville, Michael has attended Bethany Bible College and seminary and holds a B.A. in arts and M.A. in ministry from southwest Bible College and Seminary.

He and his wife, Devyon, have three children, Michael Jr., Aaron and Bethany Ann.
