Graveside funeral service for Leonard Wayne “Wayne” Gooden Jr., age 64, of Jemison, was held June 21, 2008, at 10 a.m. at Ashbank Cemetery in Nauvoo. Gary Jones officiated.

Mr. Gooden passed away June 18, 2008, at his home in Jemison.

He is preceded in death by his father, Leonard Wayne Gooden, Sr.; mother, Nancy Jane (Calloway) Gooden; daughter, Cynthia Stensen; sister, Barbara Hunter.

He is survived by his daughters, Victoria Gibbs (Steven) of Alabaster and Donna G. Roberson of Pelham; grandchildren, Rachael Damato of Calera, Chase Gibbs of Alabaster and Jessica Gibbs of Alabaster; and great-grandchildren, Mason and Giannah Damato of Calera
