WILSONVILLE – The winning streak for Tim Peters of Goodwater continues as he picked up his ninth win of the season at the Shelby County Speedway on Saturday in the Crate Late Model Division. Peters’ No. 55 fought a tough battle during the feature race to hold off Billy Franklin’s No. B17 car from Montevallo and James Kendrick’s No. 50 car from Vandiver.

Peters suited up again at the end of the night and took home another checkered flag in the 50-lap B& Towing Knock Out Race. After staring in fifth position out of 14 cars, Peters dodged his way to the front to take the lead on lap 22. Josh Ingram of Childersburg and Lenny Fowler of Wilsonville rounded out the top three in the $1,000 purse race.
