Marsena Morgan was chosen to represent Oak Mountain High School at the 2008 Alabama Girls State, held on the campus of Troy University June 8-13.

Morgan will be a senior at Oak Mountain, where she is captain of the color guard, SGA parliamentarian, Drama Club president, Mu Alpha Theta member and an Oak Mountain Master.

Morgan is also a graduate of Youth Leadership Shelby County and an active member of her church youth group. She will be a part of the 2008 Shelby County Junior Miss Program July 25-26
