Bowers returns from overseas deployment

Army National Guard Sgt. 1st Class Thomas A. Bowers has returned after being deployed to overseas in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Bowers is a human resources specialist with 33 years of military service.
He is the son of Decil L. and Mamne R.
Bowers of Calera.
The sergeant is a 1979 graduate of Midfield High School
