Chelsea’s Josh Hamner finished fourth on June 27 for his third-straight Top-5 finish to remain as the points leader in the Blizzard Series at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Fla.

“Points are great, and at the end of the year, that’s what we’re racing for. If this team can go into the Snowball Derby with a guaranteed starting spot, that would be great. The pressure would be off us, and we could try for the pole,” Hamner said.

Hamner, 20, won his first super late model race in the Blizzard Series opener April 11 and took second in the May 30 Blizzard race. He will take the month of July off and race his fourth Blizzard Series race Aug. 15. The 41st annual Snowball Derby at Five Flags will take place Dec. 4-7
